Due to the number of interested inquires we receive from artists, not all artists will be contacted. However, the Cultural Collective is open to receive submissions when Open Call events are occuring. Artists who become members also have the opportunity to become part of an awesome art movement an receive exclusive benefits and priority. Depending on level of membership or volunteer opportunity, artists can participate in beautification projects, public installations, fundraisers such as silent art auctions, exclusive gatherings, and more.

Art in Suburbia will be hosting monthly silent auctions, in-kind drives, crowfunding campaigns, participations with major corporations, kick off parties, art sales, sales of our refurbishing brand- R E U S E line, phone banks, d2d, and public awareness events.
This is entirely up to the artist.
The artist may donate his/her work to support the program or gift 50% of the sale price to the organization in support of the program. 100% of proceeds gifted from art sales cover the cost of operations and development of the program.Donated artworks will also be for auctioned off during our monthly silent auctions at our participating locations.
First, we do a Call to Artists, open first to our members and then the rest of New England.
Our team nominates a number of artworks based on a given theme from our call and scouting events.
The Executive Director selects a limited number of works to showcase for the Open Doors Exhibitions. Artworks selected for the exhibition and runner's up may be featured in AIS, ZINE! in 2021 when publication commences.
AIS, ZINE! is Art in Suburbia's very own quarterly publication that will initiate in 2021. It includes featured artists bios and work, shoutouts, discussions, and other news. The publication is a collaborative work between artists and highlights the series of past Open Doors Exhibitions and other special events.
